Lodi Art Fair
We’ve done three Shows in the last month, Snake Alley Art Fair in Burlington Iowa, Fountain Square Art Festival in Evanston Illinois, and Lodi’s 48th Annual “Art in the Park” Show and Sale in Lodi Wisconsin. As you can see, it is a nice setting, very pleasant. We had a glorious day, too. There were a lot of my friends here as well.
Tim Miller of Trademark Traditions
This is Tim Miller of Trademark, (he’s just setting up). I came by to slow him down so I could sell more stuff :))
John the Ringman's Son
Also, John the Ringman’s sons David and Michael were here helping the Family Business to prosper, which is only right.
Customer Trying on a Finger Bracelet™ as a Toe Ring
Oddly, enough, one young woman was trying on a Finger Bracelet™ to use as a toe ring. Even though it was a great day with fine ambiance, sales, fortunately, were slow and I came home with lots of stock.
So, you can order on line at Magical Delights.com!!
December 3, 2009
As the Holidays are now upon us, (we are all in this together), we must remember that they are not the same for everyone. My thought is that each day we take a moment and sit with our favorite (at the moment) stone and see what we have learned from our attachment to it. The stones, (either in a piece or on their own), came into our lives, (or we seek them out), to help move us along the paths we are choosing. This is one of the events that surround our fascination with stones and minerals. As the bones of the earth they help us stay connected with the earth and each other.
Magical Delights will appear, along with Spirit Dancer Crystals at the Body Mind Spirit Christmas Consciousness Festival in Schaumburg, Illinois December 11th, 12th and 13th. We will have a lot of jewelry with us so a wonderful collection will be available ONE MORE TIME in 2009.
During the recent Show, at the Victory of Light Expo in Cincinnati, Magical Delights was happy to provide three wands and a bunch of jewelry pieces. We had good discussions with others about the 2009 year and the general feeling was that a time of reflection is at hand prior to the interesting events of 2012.
Overall, we observed that most people agreed that maybe the end of “a certain kind of separation” was taking place. Perhaps we may be beginning to see the end of discrimination due to dogma. The anger and unhappiness that we see may be the frustration caused by people separating themselves along exclusionary lines of ideology, philosophy religion and ethnicity. As the world becomes smaller due to advances in communication, some of the ways we separate are becoming harder to maintain. Let’s hope so.
