And because we are not always totally coherent at these shows we sometimes see interesting things. The following are some of those with brief explanations.
At the Payne Art Center Art in the Park. we were shown a new way of transporting materials from car to site.
We noticed another interested spectator,the squirrel who took in the activities like a pro.
At the Snake Alley Art Fair we saw what might be the coolest thing ever – some guy, playing the drum parts to Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones on a pizza delivery box, with brushes. I was too busy to get close enough to get his name, sorry about that, but I had to get the picture!
Finally on a further musical note, I saw this Gong Vendor at the Sugarloaf Art Festival in Timonium, Maryland. At the end of the show each day, he would gong the big one shown in the foreground, which you could hear through all three buildings. We thought about setting up a seismograph.
